Also knows as the Peruvian Old Man Cactus or the Cotton Ball Cactus, is a densely hairy species covered in a warm woolly white coat to help protect it from the cold of its high altitude environment. In its natural habitat it can grow up to 7 metres tall, but only 3 metres when cultivated and grown in a pot.
