Calathea Warscewiczii, also known as the Jungle Velvet Calathea due to its velvety soft leaves, has gorgeous feathered variegation across its leaves in varying shades of green, and deep burgundy undersides. Known as prayer plants, the Calathea’s foliage folds up at night and drops during the day. Light & Temperature: Indirect or filtered light in a warm spot.

Watering: Keep the soil moist but don’t allow the plant to sit in water. Water when the top few centimetres of soil are dry.

Humidity: Prefers a higher humidity. Place in a naturally humid room, such as the bathroom or kitchen, or mist regularly with water.
